Good News for the Day, Seriously!!!

In these times when we are constantly being bombarded with bad news, especially when we turn on TV, radio , computer, smart phones, etc., I hope you will indulge me as I share some good news. First and foremost, the best  news I have ever heard is given to us in God’s Holy Word.  Believing with all my heart that I would go  to Heaven were I to die right now or anytime in the future is the best news ever.  It’s not because I’m a good person because  “none is righteous,  no, not one” from Romans 3:10.  However, we read in Ephesians 2:8-9 “for it is by grace you have been saved through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.” (NIV) That concludes part one of my sermon for the day.

Part two of sermon: There are armchair physicians and gurus of all types who promise amazing results if we use their gym equipment, try their special diet, and use their magic pills.  The list could go on and on.  Some of  these things truly do yield positive results, so I don’t mean to poo poo them.  But now I have decided to go out on a limb and share with you what has happened with me in the past 2-1/2 months.  A dear friend was concerned about my blood disease and encouraged Jerry & me to purchase a Wellness Pro machine, aka microcurrent or TENS.  I started using it July 6 and am on it every day between 2-4 hours (that’s why I don’t have time to blog so much). I did skip the 10 days we were in Minnesota & the 4 days in Nashville.  My last labs were done about 2 weeks ago, and my white cells had decreased to the lowest point ever since I was first diagnosed with the blood disease.  Even with daily doses of oral chemo, the white cells were dangerously high! These latest test results far exceeded our expectations.  The truth is I didn’t really have great expectations about this machine (oh me of little faith). The primary reason I decided to share this news is the hope that either you or someone you love could benefit from the TENS machine.  My Wellness Pro wasn’t inexpensive so it was tempting to ignore the advice of my friend.  Jerry and I are both so excited about the results, including unbelievable healing of allergies. I have taken one Benadryl since July 6, when in the past I took that allergy tab or Chlortabs almost daily or at least 4 times a week! Seriously astonishing!

I don’t have a pony in this race and stand to gain nothing but satisfaction and joy if just one person reading this gets the machine and is helped by using it daily.  My prayer is that I have made an important point today.  As Winston Churchill said, “If you have an important point to make, don’t try to be subtle or clever.  Use the pile driver. Hit the point once  and then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time; a tremendous whack.”
